This society which was formed amongst other things for collecting all that is obtainable concerning the
Aborigines, solicits your assistance in making a collection of the Native Names of places with their meanings
or the reasons why the blacks gave such names to the several localities (*see example). No doubt some of the old residents in your localities will be able to assist you. Yours faithfully.
