This society, which was formed amongst other things for collecting all that is obtainable concerning the Aboriginees, solicits your assistance in making a collection of the Native Names of places with their meaning or the reason why the blacks gave such names to the seceral localities (see example).* No doubt some of the sold residents in your district will be able to assist you.
