This Society, which was formed amoungst other things for collecting all that is obtainable concerning the Aboriginees, solicits your assistance in making a collection of the Native Names of palces with their meaning or the reason why the blacks gave such names to the seceral localities (see example).* No doubt some of the old residents in your district will be able to assist you.
