At 2 pm I journeyed to the Barracks received my suit of Civvys & discharge. Once more a Civvy and in the best country in the world.
I hope never again to go through the same experiences but must confess that now it is all over I would not have missed it under any circumstances. There is no need to write how pleased those at home were on my return. The house was gaily bedecked with flags & everybody was happy. I now close my Diary feeling a better man for my experiences in the Army & am fully convinced had
