29-1-16Sat 29thHad a kit inspection this morning & had to put in for any shortages, as my black kit bag is still missing I had to put in for a new rig-out;This afternoon the 1st Regt. played the 2nd Regt. Football, & we won by 11 points to nil. After tea we commenced boxing & some good bouts were put up till it got too dark to see.
30-1-16Sun 30thI cleaned the Sig. gear this morning instead of going to Church. A good many lads from Heliopolis turned up here this morning & I gave Ray Mathison Stans letters to take back with him; Boxing after tea, & was making down my bed when I heard the passes were back from
