another site in Jerusalem. Arrived there about 8 pm and slept in open. It rained during night and in morning all hands were drenched.
Friday March 15th
Foggy morning. Seems like home to hear the clocks striking the hour church bells ringing. Left for sightseeing 9 AM. Riding along road we passed English Cathedral a massive stone building, the German[?] Hospital Damascus & Jaffa Gate. These gates with others are the entrance into old Jerusalem. They are a tremendous height about 90ft. foundationto of Jerusalem wall supposed to be 40 to 50 ft depth & walls 40 ft high. We rode round the outside
