usual price, which was as low as we could get it. It was well worth it though, for they dress in all sorts of glad rags especially for soldiers and go through all sorts of fancy antics.

The Durban people are very good natured and treated us well everywhere We had the free use of the trams and free entry into all public places. Perhaps to my discredit I must admit that I had no less than five afternoon teas at people's invitation besides several light snacks
