different events, though we are looking forward to them doing well in the boxing and wrestling.

Sunday 31st. October
Church parade again. Mock funeral of the chaplain afterwards. His preaching is vile, and he has been heard talking about the contents of letters posted. (He was appointed censor).

Everybody hung over the side nearly all the afternoon watching 'with bated eyes and bulging breath' (or some other such thing) another ship which kept in sight for a couple of hours.
