out for an airing, and their place is cleaned out. On such days it is almost necessary for half a dozen chaps to do guard near their things and exterminate the insect pests with which they seem to be teeming, to prevent them from coming forward to our decks. How they live I can't imagine for they must be like bees in a hive.
