However we slept pretty soundly, till nearly 8 oclock in the morning which was the best thing we have ever been allowed.

Friday 3rd
This morning we were besieged by other Australians in the camp for news of home. We also heard all sorts of things as to our ultimate destination, for this is only a depot camp.

The most absurd things imaginable are said by the returned heroes ?
