we had a splendid feed The two cooks made £15 by cooking them.

After dinner they brought our "submarine antidote" on board. It looks pretty deadly, and was inspected by nearly all on the boat, the artillery men all displaying their knowledge and absence of it too. It is a 4.7" gun and fires a shell of 50 lbs. Tomorrow they will fire two shots, to get the sights properly arranged.
