had a few rides on our 'sledge', three on a time.

The hill is very steep and we started on a course over a hundred yards up. It is a great thrill and every few yards you strike a ridge and rise right up off the ground till you hit the next with a bump. The only disadvantage was the briar hedge at the bottom into which you had to go, as it was impossible to stop for the thing went at over 40 mile an hour.
