[Indecipherable] in morning returned from listening post. 2nd Brigade are returning wounded are coming in am going to look for my lot. found them.
Thursday 3 Et MalerThe turks attack our camp another stunt am listening post tonight at 12 o'clock hear firing commencing all along the surrounding ridge (the turks having made their long delayed attack at 3 o'clock we left this part to depart to the outpost then away.
Friday 4 patrolled a couple of miles out the attack by this time had begun in earnest. I looked for my lot but could not find them I rode along the line [indecipherable] and picked them up at about 8 o'clock and [indecipherable] about a mile our casualities were light.
Saturday 5Advance this morning light casualities took prisoners am following them down [indecipherable[ have [indecipherable] them back to Katia more captives [indecipherable] also a red cross (our) outpost (10 o'clock) 11 o'clock am working around ([indecipherable]) Katia are [indecipherable] 6 o'clock are going to charge
