cold weather & am simply dreading what is to come. I can imagine the trenches full of water & mud, some of our trenches on the sides of hills will be like sewers anyway it is no good anticipating trouble.
I     received the blue socks before we landed at all & they were lost with the rest of my stuff.
As you will see by the heading we are off the peninsula, we are here for a spell, I was very lucky only rejoined about 3 weeks & then to get a spell some of the boys who have stuck it right through wanted a spell badly they were
