enough for us had hot tea or coffee at alternate stations for the men & for officers we had right royal spreads. At Lyons we stopped for a few hours & at the station a branch of the French "Croix Rouge" entertained our officers there were about twenty of the finest little women it would be possible to find needless to say we all lost our hearts & badges etc at once, the women here are fine & after Egypt it is a pleasure to have anything
