I Remamber when the Cross was at the upper end of the church had Trimm Left & a Curtain, then we Borell folk were taught there was a god upon it, & we must creep & give Egges for our Sinnes; but I think the Preists did eat them which made them such [Tread & Snobs] I am glad they have now wives their own, yet some say its a decay of mens stature, for the Seed of the church men did send forth Lusty strong & sturdy Impes, able to bear a kinges Banner  p 99 Lacie
