Fine day. Warm.  Amm. going up  Fairly quiet. Writing  at night. No bombs.
Major Selmes took over  tem: command of 1st F.A.B.

14 FRI
Dull day. Windy.  Amm: going up. Capt.  Masters arr: back. Very  quiet. Writing.

15 SAT   
Posted letters to
Fine day. Rec: pay 40 Francs  paid same to E. Sav: Amm: going  up.
'Heads' got wind up  rumour 'Fritz' was hopping  over tonight. everybody  excited.
Some guns withdrawn to battle position.   Men carting amm etc. all night
Rec. letter from May. Webb.  Very quiet day & night.
