The skylight over the Guard Room banged down during the evening. The splintered glass badly gashed Pte Cunich's instep.

Thursday 19/11/14

Decision of Court Martial on L/Cpl H. Amos announced to massed battalion. Sentenced to 21 days cells and reduced to ranks.

Slight collision between "Shropshire" and "Ascanius" early this morning whilst two men who had fallen overboard from the former were being rescued. "Shropshire's" stern slighted dented. Got word late that report of men overboard was incorrect.
