I have received orders to proceed on another service. Capt Silver of the "Melbourne" will assume command of escort & convoy. "Good bye & Good luck". Message from Wanganui to Capt Kiddle of "Minataur":- "Hearing of your departure the whole NZ Expeditionary Force thank you very much for the good care you have taken of us. Hoping you will be successful on your next service & both personally & on behalf of this force, wish you the best of luck".
