Wednesday 4/11/14

Weather beginning to get very hot as we are now nearing the tropics. A canvas bath has been rigged up on the ship and companies take it in turns to bathe.

Thursday 5/11/14

Still getting hotter. "B" Coy's turn for bathing. Major Gordon and self went in with them. While I was in the "Minataur" came down one line and up the other, on a tour of inspection. The "Osterly" overtook us about 5.15 P.M. She was crowed [crowded] with passengers..
