Sunday 1/11/14

Being on duty was up during early hours of morning. About 4.15 A.M. that same steam Nor. Whaler came alongside again, with the Chief Steward & a lot of ship's stores which I put on 10 of the Guard to unload. She left about 5.15 A.M. Splendid morning, signs of activity on all the ships. The remainder of them have been arriving in twos and threes during the week. At about 5.30 A.M. the "Minataur" steamed out followed by the "Orvieto" and all the others in line, our ship going 8th. It was a splendid sight. After they had all cleared the heads we formed up in 3 lines, with the New Zealanders in 2 lines behind. The whole convoy
