Sunday 18/10/14

Reveille at Kenso Camp @ 5 A.M. Addressed by Brigadier & moved off at 8 A.M. Outside we boarded trams & were carried to Darlinghurst Junction where it commenced to rain. Marched down Bourke St to Woolloomoo [Woolloomooloo] Wharf.

Embarked at Woolloomoo Bay @ 9.30 A.M. Anchored temporarily at Neutral Bay @ 10 A.M. Moved off @ 4.25 P.M. cleared Sydney Heads @ 5.10 P.M. weather very dull, stormy and rainy, nearly half of the officers sea sick. Had a very dirty night.

Embarkation of whole bttn only took 23 minutes.
