<p>[Page 48]</p><p>SUNDAY 14TH OCTOBER 1917<br />Usual routine during the day which was fine &amp; pleasant. At night more air raids took place. Wrote to Aunt Ben. Received letter from Mrs N Boyden. Another air raid at night.</p><p>MONDAY 15TH OCTOBER 1917<br />Painting G.S. [General Service] Waggons during day which was fine &amp; pleasant. At night we had another raid &amp; bombs were dropped very close by. During the day Fritz came over several times &amp; the guns were in action about 4 times</p>
