2 January ?? _ This morning some black_?? made their appearance among them was?? our friend Mr Dennis - They brought ?? a?? having been at the wool shed and thatthe Black fellows had safely [delivered?] the lettersto Mr Dennis. They also made us understandthat Mr Turnbull & Brown and other white fellows were ? tomorrow with ?and plenty of sheep and our missing mules. We ??found ?? then they had again diceived us. for Mr J & [B?] returned in the afternoon havingheard nothing of the mules _ Today we had [our?]dish of ?? as a change for ??the ?? of the Blacks with their lively cheerful?? playful was quite a relief to our ?? ??and ?? stay at this place - Mr Mann?? very ?? specimens if the [Guana?] or ?? - they measured 5 feet - Termometermidnight 70 - sunrise 64 10 A.M. in sun - 90 - from noon till half past 4 P.M. 92 in shadeMr Turnball states that a ??????? of our having begun ?? by the Blacksand that our other party had [been?] [killed?]
