my special cross, got lost (as they tell me is the usual thing) & did not turn up until two days afterwards you would have laughed if you had seen me taking sick parade. I made it a point to give them all something anyway & then trusted in their faith.
Well old 1917 goes out in a few hours & he has not been such a bad year either for me at any rate. Battle of Rafa on Jan 9. then out of it & on the beach most of the summer until the hard work in this advance.
