Sun 21st July 1918
Came off duty 3 am. Not feeling too good. Our guns have been busy all the morning. Weather fine. On duty 3 pm to 9 pm.

Total prisoners in the operation by the French U.S.A. & British troops in the South now total 32000 & 650 guns.

From 10.20 pm to 1 am our position under fire from 4-2 guns. One shell landed within 4 ft of our sig stn dugout, & part of the walls fell in.
