24th. Saturday.
Letterwriting most of day. Singsong evening.
25th. Sunday.
Fritz again shelled our batteries nearby. 5th Bgde Raided enemy trenches successfully.
26th. Monday
Lovely weather. Fritz shelled road to trenches. Enemy bombarded our lines about 10pm & attempted to raid 18th. line but were met by 18th raiding party which was arranged for 11pm. It was not till 3rd attempt that our boys entered his lines and by same secured few prisoners.
27th. Tuesday.
7am to 7.30 Physical jerks after brkfst. Rifle inspection.
