The State of the Circulation of Tokens in England will then Stand as Follows

of mint Tokens of all dates according to the opinion of the mint officers - calculated at their original value 46 to the lb 1200    257,598
of Counterfeit Mint Tokens their weight uncertain but their amount by Tale Equal in the opinion of the Mint officers to the true ones   -    257,598
of the heavier Tokens coind at Soho in Mr. Boultons first contracts  1819    282,075
of the Lighter Tokens the last contract for which will soon be compleated  1800    403,200
making a Total of the Old Copper Tokens True & Counterfeit of    -    515,196
of Boultons new Copper Tokens   -    685,275
Total of all Tokens supposd to be now in circulation   - 1,200,413

under the apparently heavy immence pressure of Copper Tokens, the following circumstances are observable

in the Northern Counties & some of the South western ones the new Tokens are universaly current, in the vicinity of London for a considerable circuit & in most of the Southern Counties the old & new Tokens circulate together the old however both true & counterfeit much exceeding the new in value.

in London & its immediate Environs the old both good & bad occupy about half of the common circulation the other half being the new & it is in London only where any complaints have been made of the over abundance of Copper Tokens
