under the apparently heavy immence pressure of Copper Tokens, the following circumstances are observable
in the Northern Counties & some of the South western ones the new Tokens are universaly current, in the vicinity of London for a considerable circuit & in most of the Southern Counties the old & new Tokens circulate together the old however both true & counterfeit much exceeding the new in value.
in London & its immediate Environs the old both good & bad occupy about half of the common circulation the other half being the new & it is in London only where any complaints have been made of the over abundance of Copper Tokens
