about a week ago but missed them by one day and they are now out of reach for the present. I got a very nice letter from Walter Macallum. I hope his appointment on the intelligence staff will keep him back out of trouble a bit.
Pitt is in my raiding party and is doing well. Cohen is fit. C.O.has just been to Blighty for 10 days leave and is bubbling over with good spirits. (not the spirituous variety). GWS Lucas in near me here. He is well but growls a lot because they won't give him leave to go back to
