hear of my returning it. Insisting that as he would have no use for it now, he would be glad if I would take it. I found mine yesterday hidden in a pair of socks at the bottom of my trunk, so have just hastened to return his. It was very decent of him and he did it in such a way that I couldn't refuse.

Jack Mant is in a signalling school at present and won't get ver to France for a month or two yet if all goes well. He should get an N.C.O.s job out of it.

I haven't got the faintest idea where we will be posted, but think somewhere about the Ypres salient. Anyway I will be able to find out about Little and where Arthur's belongings have gone.

I have written to May Scott-Skirving, Mr.Pring and Miss Miles (Mr O'Reilly's cousin)
