You have, no doubt, heard of much of our doings until recently, & when it was decided to evacuate Anzac the 20th was given the post of honor on Russell Top & Walkers Ridges to cover the retirement of the rest of the Anzac Corps to the boats. The 18th had the position of next importance on Plugger's Plateau. Fortunately we succeeded in completely tricking the Turks, & not only came off without loss, but succeeded in accounting for a few hundred of the enemy as we retired.
