M. W. put the clause into the act by which all Mess Ms.. Lands were to be    allotment in Lieu of allotted in the Tithes were to be allotted in the S field near Gonerby hall the Poorest & most distant Land
Mr. W induced Sir P. to exchag accept Thwaite in exchange from Mess M for the  Protection of his game & Bargaind with Sir P.s Steward to Receive from him  his homestead in exchange for distant Field Land if he expected an equal
Quantity of the best & most convenient Land [Deletures?] given of the most  distant to wander [far?] were disapointed had not the clause precluded the Commissioners they would as usual have began  at the village & alloted to each proprietor a proportion of poor & good & distant & bad Land in which Case it would have appeard equal as well as realy been so
Sir Peters allotment which you calld cheap was offerd to you in which Case Sir  John Dashwood was to have had you due allotment but rejected in an early  stage of the business
