The Swans are brought to Mr Leeds's about the middle of August & put into that piece of water that is in the Meadow
to every Swan they allow one Combe of Barley They are fat about the middle of Novbr. They put some water & Barley into a small tub fastend to the side of the pond, that it may not be turned over.
They should be fed three times a day.
