I am very sorry to acquaint you of the Death of my Friend Dr Steel, (The Gentleman that sent you the Cassada Bread). This happened on the 11th Inst at Orange Hill.
I suppose you have heard of the Death of Luke John Robins, he was drowned in attempting to cross a River in St Georges. I am sorry to add, that all his drawings were lost with our Friend John Ellis in 1782 - Mr Roberts a Clergyman, and a Skillfull Botanist died of a Paralytic Stroke in his Passage to N America: Dr Clarke does little or nothing in Natural History:
