would sail much faster and upon a wind close handed she is much worse. I sincerely hope we shall never experience a Gale or come upon a Lee Shore - in short she is the most uncomfortable Ship I ever was in, the Capt. & every one on board are of the same opinion.
I have been a little way into the Country but this being the winter there are but few plants in flower such as are I have collected. There are several people here that are acquainted with Mr. Corea particularly the Governor & Doctor Camera they have both been very attentive to me, & desire their Compliments to Mr. Corea.
I am sorry to inform you that the plants I took from England are all dead & now there is difficulty of replacing them with plants
