Lord Darnley, may I beg of you to shew my collection of him as a friend in the distribution of the Lilly's Warratans Norfolk Pines and such others as you can spare.  I have sent also a Box of Seeds for you & a Box of Skins of Animals of Van Dieman's Land.  A New Zeland Chiefs head preserved, a Porcupine, & a Crab for Mr. Horne amusement.  I have not yet been able to comply with his request concerning the Kangaroos & Opossum Tribe.  All the Kangaroo Catchers will believe no other than that they Young are generated through the nipples in the Pouch, as in the first instance they have been found as small as a Pea adhereing to them, but have not the Kangaroos bred at Kew.  I forgot to mention I have sent Mr Greville two Vials of Warratan seed sealed up, in case the other in paper fails.
