My Dear Sir

          It is now ten days since my last letter to you, which I can scarcely believe, for nothing has intervened but disappointment in wind & weather until this morning that both are in our favor, however until we are under Sail I shall not again believe we are to depart.  My not hearing from you My Dear Sir makes me very sensibly feel that you are still labouring under the fit of the Gout, and if so, there is no person will have more Friends to lament their illness or one so particularly as myself.  I have not been out of
