Admiralty Office. 15th January. 1811.

Sir,

I have received and laid before My Lord Commissioners of the Admiralty your letter of the 13th instant, stating that Captain Flinders  is prepared to commence the necessary operations for publishing the Journal of his voyage in the "Investigator", provided that their Lordships should approve of the measure; and, at the same time, expressing your readiness, in this event, to superintend the management of the draughtsmen, engravers, &c who may be engaged in the execution of the Work.
