<p>[Page 27]</p><p>In Italy, our victory has been consolidated; the 250,000 prisoners taken and the 2500 pieces of artillery seized are simply stupendous figures. Thus, the military situation for us is better than ever, and if it weren&#39;t for the Allies&#39;&nbsp;hopes for American intervention, the time for a peace on German terms would have come for sure. We owe the continuation of this enormous genocide to America&#39;s entry into the war. May God give us the power to deal with this latest enemy.</p><p>1st/12/17.<br />The camp internal leadership has undergone a change in the past days, in so far as Mr Ermakeil, the chairman of the camp&#39;s executive commission, has stepped down. He is a clear-cut alcoholic, and because he can&#39;t hold the booze very well, he&#39;s drunk more often than not. We have witnessed quite a few telling scenes in this regard, both in Singapore and here. But he really capped it all a few days ago when he decided to relieve himself in the hallway</p>
