Six of the best swimmers of the bgde have been exempted from pickets & fatigues & esconsed on the beach. Their stock-in-trade consists of a life buoy with "Palestine Surf Club" neatly painted on it, and about half a mile of telephone wire. They have rescued several men already.
It is very curious what boys we've become, when thrown together under a common law such as we are.
