and clear out to another factory ½ a mile distant.

1st Dec. Received a very large mail of letters & parcels just now, and as we all are
broke with scarcely a cigarette, it came at an opportune moment.
Our rations now are very bad or rather scanty, for we have not had a decent feed since
we left Larkhill.
One great relief to us is we do not have to wash our clothes now, as, coming out of the
firing line we are sent back to the baths where we have a hot bath and a change of
clothes supplied.
