Married 3 years today. Wrote a long letter to Doff. Visited Billets at tattoo.
Tuesday 14/8/17
General Training, paid visit to Billets. Band played well.
Wednesday 15/8/17
Raining again, gave a lecture to N.C.O.'s & men.
Thursday 16/8/17
Took battalion for 16 miles Route march, no one fell out, had a swim at Arques on the way.
Friday 17/8/17
Battalion Drill on the Distillery Grounds – Good – Had dinner with Slane at Brigade H.Q. Wisdom returns tomorrow – wrote to Doff.
