from all accounts killed others. They started to come back towards morning in 2's and 3's worn out, some minus puttees, the prisoners seemed much pleased to be "finis" war. The morning light disclosed a different complexion on to the state of affairs that prevailed during the night whilst the excitement of the battle was on, the men would stop at nothing.
