A white roof that gleams in a clearing
A sunset of Crimson & Gold.
The Garden will blossom in Sunshine
The breeze with the roses will play
And glad hands will fling wide the curtains
To welcome a new fragrant day.
Then we may go back
On the long home track  
In sunshine our new worlds to form
Yet rich with the wonderful treasures
Of friendships we won from the storm.

Theres a Scotch Influence if nothing else.   But now that I've done it I'm durned if I understand it myself.
