use of the West India Islands & of his Majesties Botanic Garden at Kew for which it is but too probable that the Losses you will have sustaind in a̶ ̶t̶e̶d̶i̶o̶u̶s̶  passing the Cape will have made ample Room   if that should be the Case & any spare Room be Left after having received all that is prepard for you I̶ ̶w̶o̶u̶l̶d̶ ̶h̶a̶v̶e̶  you are to fill it up with such wild plants of the Island as are not yet introduced into the English Gardens & particularly to
dig up one or two Fern trees with large Balls of Earth adhering to their Roots & Plant them in Large baskets for his Majesties use.
From hence y̶o̶u̶  the ship will proceed to the Island of St.  Vincents in the West Indies w̶h̶e̶r̶e̶  at which place one half of your Cargo is to be depositd in the care of h̶i̶s̶ ̶m̶a̶j̶e̶s̶t̶i̶e̶s̶  the Superintendent of t̶h̶e̶  his majesties Garden, for the use of the
Windward Islands from him you will receive in Return Plants growing in Pots which have been prepard in conformity
to a List sent from the Royal Botanic Garden at Kew which are to be put
