respect to sending home any despatches, having no particular person to whose care I can intrust them, but the Master of the Ship Rose;   the friends about me are so few, that I cannot dispense with their Services

I herewith transmit the State and Conditions of His Majesty's Ship Porpoise on the 30th July and this Instant; and under the fullest confidence that I shall have every relief sent to me,
