a little water and then on we went again, and before long we were at Leicester, we reached there about half past six.

On the station there was a lot of nice things ready for us to eat, but I may say we were not given any time to eat anything. We were bunged in to the motors and off we went, at the gates there were about a thousand people to greet us and oh what a cheer, such a one I had not heard since I had left Sydney football ground 18 months previous, anyway all the way up to the hospital which is about a mile and a half from the station we were cheered and one old chapthrough threw 2 packets of cigarettes into the motor.

We were soon at the hospital
