It has been fearfully cold all day. Snow all over the place but now the frost has frozen it & it is as hard as a rock, have to be careful not to slip.

Oh, it is a beautiful sight now our Officers have two sledges made for Tobbogganing (?spelling). We had a go on it on Thursday afternoon. My, it was great
