Called several times & I would not be surprised to see him to-morrow. I meet him also in England while on Leave

If you see Edmund tell him I'm very well & shall never forget his goodness to me. Hope he enjoyed the voyage home & had a good time in Paris. Awfully sad his life is, but her makes the best of it.

I think it best not to write to him. I'm sure
