Of doing so. There is nothing but mud & water – it is raining, snowing & hailing most of the time.

Our duck-walks are now nearly all down, so we can get about without going through mud up to our knees.

I have worn a cap once since we came here & then it rained & spoilted it in the afternoon – Live in our rain cloaks & hats.

How I should love to have one of your home made fruit cakes.

Dorothy is still going strong & seems very happy in her work
